In The Center Of LES

Pros:
• Heart of LES
• Spacious layout for a studio
Cons:
• Very loud due to being on a very busy street
• Heat and cooling issues. Either extremely hot or freezing cold
Advice to owner:
Please find a way to regulate the temperature better

Pros:
Prime location. I’ve been around orchard st for 6-7 years now and living here for a couple years. Apartments are very small, bathroom is also very small. Great for single people. Landlord is nice but never around. The building and hallways need a heavy make-over.
Cons:
Tenement building so walls are paper thin. Every level in this building has a bad tenant. Noisy, partying constantly until the early morning, arguments and from what I’ve heard, these tenants have been here for YEARS and is a constant issue. Cops are here every single week banging on doors so be ready to be woken up in the middle of the night.
Advice to owner:
Please keep up with building. Take care of your tenants and do something about the horrible ones!

Heart of LES

Pros:
Heart of LES (opinion based), in the thick of the art/fashion scene, great restaurants and bars nearby, great sense of community.
Cons:
Old tenement building so walls are thin. Can hear neighbors next to us and above. Orchard st is getting more and more popular, so the street noise can get a little loud but overall I am able to sleep fine.
Advice to owner:
Answer my email about fixing cabinet door
