Tolerable if not for the management
Former Tenant
Pros:
-Location
-Maintenance staff was quick, responsive, and helpful
Cons:
-I lived in apartment #2 in the building and there were somehow two apartment #2's. Not 2A or 2B- just 2. For that reason, the tenants in the other apartment #2 (~5 frat boys) threw ragers all seven days of the week all hours of the night and my buzzer never stopped going off. They also frequently had their drunk friends try to stroll into my apartment. Enough to ruin my experience there.
-Packages were ALWAYS stolen.
-Building management was extremely nasty when asking very basic innocent questions. Lookup Ariel Soudry on Google. Enough said.
-They advertised the apartment as ~$2050/month due to 1 month being rent free. I didn't understand what that meant and ended up paying $2350 for the duration of the lease. When the last month came around, I asked if that was my free months and they said "no, we paid your broker fee so that was your free rent." Huh?! Note to self to read between the lines on the lease and ask questions.
Advice to owner:
BE NICE!!! IT IS NOT THAT HARD! Most of your tenants are young ambitious professionals that just want a place to call home!
