Great for the area
Former Tenant
Pros:
Garbage and recycling is always taken care of, has an elevator, can't ever hear neighbors, excellent location
Cons:
was difficult to get things fixed or acknowledgement at all from building management, hesitant to fix either front door when they were each broken which led to stolen packages
Advice to owner:
read your emails

Ok spot with great location
Former Tenant
Pros:
Love the location, but that does come with noise. Has an elevator which comes in handy. No pest issues.
Cons:
Landlord not super responsive. Rooms come dirty and will need deep clean. Only one room gets sunlight.

Good building to live in
Former Tenant

Charming old building with charming old problems
Former Tenant
Pros:
Location, simplicity of dealing with management, nothing shady
Cons:
Older building, issues with water damage and flooding due to old pipes. A piece of our ceiling fell due to water damage. Front door lock has been broken a few times locking residents out and was finally replaced.
Advice to owner:
Stay on top of building maintenance.

Don’t rent here if you want a landlord who responds to you
Former Tenant
Pros:
Great neighborhood, people in the building are nice, roof access is nice
Cons:
The building manager, Hugh, will never answer your calls or emails no matter how serious the emergency. Overflowing toilet flooding your apartment? Power outage in 100 degree weather that con ed says is your building’s fault? Front door of the apartment building broken and homeless people hanging out in the stairwell? He doesn’t care and will not respond. Good luck getting any repairs done ever.
Advice to owner:
Your tenants are paying you way too much money for you to treat them so badly
