Creepy corporate bullshit
Former Tenant
Pros:
Location, historic setting, decent kitchen appliances
Cons:
Kicking out long term residents so they can charge more to future tenants, and refusing to do the many necessary repairs while the old tenants still live here. It’s creepy and vile, they waited for the moratorium on evictions to be done before serving half the building with eviction notices. Also the security is shoddy, with faulty buzzers and no cameras. There are extremely loud faulty steam valves in 3 of the rooms, the heater in the living room is missing its knob entirely, and both the bathroom sink and the shower have a constant leak.
Advice to owner:
Respect the historic neighborhood you moved into and the tenants who’s livelihood you rely on for income. Address their needs accordingly. Loyalty goes a long way. And beef up security, even a video doorbell would be better than nothing. And don’t evict people if they’re good tenants who pay rent on time!!
