AVOID AT ALL COSTS
Former Tenant
Pros:
Landlord pays for heat and water.
Cons:
After the bathroom ceiling collapsed, it took the management 3 full days to answer our calls. The building roof also collapsed during the same time. There are dead roaches in the lobby and trash room overflowing during the weekends.
Advice to owner:
Please care about your tenants.

Do Not Live Here
Former Tenant
Pros:
One bedroom gets a lot of light The bathroom is relatively nice
Cons:
This place is horrid. I would advise any potential tenants to stay far away. Roaches and rats in the stairwell. Mice and roaches in the apartments. Stairwell smells like death and is often filthy. Neighbors BLASTING music during work hours. Neighbor drops trash onto my windowsill. Unsafe neighborhood. Dirty dusty apartments with ceiling pieces literally falling to the floor. Packages constantly get stolen. The building has been broken in to multiple times. The heating pipes and ceiling crack so loudly all night I wake up every hour…. I do not feel safe or secure in the building at all. Avoid at all costs — seriously. Live in a different neighborhood, this place is not ok.
Advice to owner:
Please remove the rats from the garbage room

Always something to do in the area
Former Tenant
Pros:
Building was nice and clean, neighbors were quiet, good size apartment for rent and area
Cons:
Area is loud
Advice to owner:
Figure out water heater issue. Too many times in a one year stretch we’re my hot water would disappear for 2+ hours

Overpriced, loud, unreliable hot water
Former Tenant
Pros:
Location, walkability, lots of light
Cons:
Location has a lot of noise, especially at night. Allen is a truck route. Rivington and Orchard have lots of restaurants with frequent garbage collection. Crazy/drunk people yelling. Traffic and honking is out of control on weekend nights.
Hot water is unreliable. At least a couple times a month we run out of hot water mid-shower or won't have hot water at all.
Roof was closed recently without warning.
No live-in super.
Infrequent cleaning in hallway. Litter & various spillings accumulate on stairs over the weeks between cleanings.
Advice to owner:
Clean more often. Reopen roof. Fix heating / hot water.
