Rats and pests in the walls
Former Tenant

good location, management responds promptly but wouldn’t have to handle so many emergencies if they continuously upkept the building

Full of rats, rat mites, dead rats in the walls causing fly infestations

Management unresponsive, old building
Former Tenant
Pros:
Super and porter are ok. Super tends to ignore your call but will get back to you eventually
Cons:
Building manager is a lost cause. Does not respond or take any action. There's a family on the second floor that's extremely loud and leaves their door open when they cook. Some of the apartments/neighbors are still using fuses instead of a circuit breaker panel which shows you how old the wiring is
Advice to owner:
Clean the hallway/stairs more often. Bring the building to the 21st century with video doorbells.
