A sh*thole you should avoid at all costs.
Former Tenant
Pros:
Nothing at all
Cons:
Filthy.
Sound from both outdoor and indoor floods the apt. It’s basically like living outside.
Trash management is laughable. The trash area fills so much that sometimes you couldn’t open the door. Once when they were repairing the trash area they just put the trash in the hallways for a week.
The laundry is right next to the trash and it’s DISGUSTING. Often it would malfunction in the middle of washing or drying and then I was screwed.
There was package theft every single day and it took then months to simply install cameras which did nothing to deter anyone.
I had checks stolen from my mail and fraudulently deposited which was wild.
They installed a new oven when I moved in that they did incorrectly and I nearly died from a gas leak.
Even the decorative kitchen tiles are upside down.
Water pressure is mediocre.
Advice to owner:
You are a slumlord and everyone should know

Hell Square Living
Former Tenant
Pros:
Neighbors are courteous, and building's generally quiet; mostly workers just trying to live.
Cons:
Building itself is in need of serious repair. First floor often smells like dead rats or something. Lotsa live ones in garbage area. Have no idea who landlord is: likely tied to real estate brokerage to charge broker fees. Outside is pure chaos. As is to be expected around here.
