Overall Fine Place
Former Tenant
Pros:
Elevator, spacious, natural sunlight
Cons:
Smell (always smelled like cat urine) & security (couldn’t get packages because they would all be stolen and nothing was done to prevent it)
Advice to owner:

Poorly managed, unsanitary, stolen packages
Former Tenant
Pros:
Huge apartments with natural light, beautiful views. Great location in heart of east village. Laundromat across the street
Cons:
Run by cockroaches. We hired exterminators multiple times, kept a clean space to no avail. Management will not answer and will let this place fall apart: had no heat for extended periods in freezing winter. Hot water broke down regularly… cold showers ahead of work. Sewage pipe broke down and there were no repairs for 2 weeks, leaking disgusting water throughout the apartment. Wifi is horrible. Can be very loud and slept with ear plugs given lively nightlife. Superintendent is never available. You can’t order absolutely any package it will get stolen no matter if it’s Amazon or something more expensive. Tap water was constantly molding even when using new Britas.
Advice to owner:
Take better care of the facilities

Package thieves but beautiful apartments
Former Tenant
Pros:
Love the elevator and the interior of the apartment. Very spacious and beautiful moulding.
Cons:
I HAVE HAD ALMOST 80% OF MY PACKAGES STOLEN. Landlord and super will give me zero responses despite me begging multiple times. Also the water pressure is pretty awful.
Advice to owner:
GET BETTER MAIL SECURITY.

Only worth it if you get an UNREAL deal on rent
Former Tenant
Pros:
All of the rooms are very spacious by NYC standards. Given the fact that we had a COVID rent deal ($1800/pp in a 2 bedroom), we were paying well below market average for the amount of space. The pre-war details are nice and we enjoy the general area.
Cons:
Our unit has not been maintained properly for years and something is constantly in disrepair (shower knobs and doorknobs falling off, inconsistently hot water, tiles falling out of shower, windowpanes coming loose, etc.) Appliances and finishes in kitchen and bathroom are quite outdated. We do not have in-building laundry and the landlord refused to pay to install a dishwasher in the unit. We've also had periodic cockroach issues and a minor bedbug infestation which was only partially comped.

There is also a mind-blowingly skilled package thief in the building -- my stuff has been swiped within minutes of delivery on multiple occasions -- so I stopped shipping things to the apartment. Also, the super is passive-aggressive and constantly ghosts our texts requesting maintenance requests.

Lastly, don't expect to be able to negotiate any cleaning, painting, or renovations - believe me, we tried.
Advice to owner:
Pricing a unit based purely on market demand for square footage is completely obscene given your negligent upkeep and blatant disrespect of the basic needs of your tenants. I am manifesting multiple lawsuits against you in the coming year. Good fucking riddance!

Horrible disgusting place!
Former Tenant
Pros:
I find hard to say something nice, since there isn’t
Cons:
I really don’t recommend this building, its disgusting
Advice to owner:
