Loudest block in Manhattan
Former Tenant
Pros:
cozy apartments, plenty of closet space, very responsive and helpful super, roof is furnished and has a great view. Exterminator comes regularly, no issues with pests.
Cons:
Property management company can be difficult to reach. Rent rates vary wildly between units. Water pressure is lacking. Street noise is so awful, it will compromise sleep quality 9 times out of 10. Neighborhood is VERY young and getting younger.

best street, best rooftop
Former Tenant
Pros:
The super William was always kind, helpful, and immediately responsive. The apartment finishings were nice but not cold and luxury-condo-esque. Incredible location and the best rooftop view in East Village.
Cons:
Expensive for the size, and the six floor walkup is no joke.

Super was responsive, owners are professionals, back of the building was quiet. Very solid building in busy loud neighborhood.
