Horrible Super and Unresponsive Landlord
Former Tenant
Pros:
The size of the apartments is very nice for the price, especially the full size kitchen.
Since the landlord is a person and not a property management, there is a lot more leeway in terms of the tenants’ incomes.
Cons:
The building is infested with bugs and mice. The second front door rarely works and you will often times get stuck between the outer front door and the inner front door.
The super is horrible—very, very mean. He refuses to help you in anyway. He will only tell you to fix things yourself, then if you ask how, he will yell at you for not knowing.
The landlord is unresponsive. He’s left unreturned calls for up to three weeks. When I tried to get my deposit back, first he ignored me, then he sent me a bounced check, then finally sent it correctly.
