Beware the slum lord
Former Tenant
Pros:
Loved my spacious and sunny studio. A gem of a find in east village!
Cons:
Landlord was rude, unresponsive, and eventually stopped fixing things. He also kept saying that he dropped off the lease in my mailbox but he never did despite my asking countless times and this went on for a year and he blamed me for the fact that we weren't on a lease, it was very confusing. He also started raising his voice at me over the phone and leaving rude (verbally abusive) messages. Finally it got too much and I left the apartment.
Advice to owner:
Dont be a jerk to your tenants.

Former Tenant
Pros:
Absolutely no problems whatsoever. This apartment has been so good to me !!
Cons:
Not many. A bit of a walk from the 6 train but right off the L!
