Sahara East Sucks
Former Tenant
Pros:
Rooms are large for neighborhood
Cons:
Business below the building would play loud music in the evening, even on weeknights. Also, a homeless person broke into our neighbors apartment while she was home.
Advice to owner:
Reconsider career choice

Mostly okay??
Former Tenant
Pros:
If you go to nyu and are upper class this place will work for you. No bugs, no major maintenance issues, and super is very consistent about taking out trash.
Cons:
The leasing company is SO shady!! They only allow paper transaction and do not even have an email address or a website you can contact them at. Make sure to keep ALL receipts for rent checks - once they said we owed 3k when we most definitely did NOT, and had to call back and forth to get it cleared up once we proved we had the receipt for a check written for that month. Additionally, for a half month of rent the leasing company gave us the WRONG amount of what we owed, and we had to correct that.
Additionally, consider investing in a PO Box and or FedEx holding service for your packages if you live here. Within 6 months, had five packages stolen and the super is not interested in helping.
Advice to owner:
Install a camera in the lobby! Or just in the entry! Me and my fellow residents’ packages are consistently stolen!!!
