Supers are helpful
Former Tenant
Pros:
Location is great, quiet street for the most part. Super is helpful and responsive.
Cons:
The price is exorbitant given there are no amenities (washer dryer, public/private outdoor space, etc)
Advice to owner:
Allow rooftop access

Friendly building, lots of personality, fairly responsive management
Former Tenant
Pros:
Great neighbors, lots of personality, responsive super and porter, fairly quiet block but close to everything
Cons:
Layouts on some of the units are challenging
Advice to owner:
Do what you can to keep the long-time residents in the building, they make it what it is (this coming from a young resident)

Don't rent an apartment here
Former Tenant
Pros:
Great neighborhood. Historic cemetery across the street is sometimes open on weekends.
Cons:
Landlord will not make repairs. Roof leaks. Water pressure sucks. Heat is provided only when legally required and only at minimum required temperature. Building has no elevator.
Advice to owner:
Try acting like a human being.
