Could improve substantially
Former Tenant
Pros:
Good location
Appartment was painted when I moved in
Cons:
The buidling smells very bad inside (entrance of the building and hallways)
Elevator also smells very bad
I see cockroaches every other week (inside my appartment and on the hallways)
Dogs of neighbours bark continuously
Stairs are dirty
Advice to owner:
Clean the building more offten and please kill all cockroaches!

Quirky east village apartment
Former Tenant
Pros:
The building has character. I’ve had only good (and honestly, few) interactions with my neighbors which I was worried about when moving to such a large building. I think it really emptied out during COVID so maybe that’s why it feels like there aren’t that many people in here. My unit was nicely renovated and has a lot of charm.
Cons:
Smell, roaches, and rodents. Also constant construction. This may also be the broker’s mistake, but they told me utilities were included with my rent and they are not.
Advice to owner:
The same stinky, gross pair of shoes has been in the hallway since I moved in six months ago. The hallways also smell horrible at all hours of the day, but I think those shoes are the worst part.
