Bad trash management but otherwise fine
Former Tenant
Pros:
No serious problems with the building itself.
Cons:
Outdoor metal trash receptacle not sealed so it’s constantly full of rats, which makes taking out your trash really gross

Poorly Managed, Great Apartments
Former Tenant
Pros:
The super is very kind and is usually responsive and timely with helping with issues.
Apartments are a large size but they are renovating all of them to get more tenants/higher rent = smaller rooms/living areas.
Tenants are friendly and young (typical to the area).
Rent is a fair price for the market.
Cons:
Property manager is impossible to work with. Never responds and has a terrible attitude if you raise any concerns. Another tenant was asked to leave because they complained so much.
Old building so lots of leaking, rodents, other pests.
Constant construction (summer 22)
Packages ALWAYS stolen/ripped open if left more than a few hours.
Building managers are scamming people out of their security deposits.
Advice to owner:
Respond to your tenants and treat them with respect (at a minimum).
Upgrade security so that tenants don’t have to worry about valuables going missing.
Do something about the constant water damage.
Do something about the insane rodent problem.
Clean the outside of the building so it doesn’t look like a garbage center.

A pretty decent east village building
Former Tenant
Pros:
Location is ideal, right on the avenue. Elevator is a huge plus. It has steam heat which is nice. My apartment was very spacious
Cons:
Had a consistent mouse problem. Even after sealing up every hole with management, we still had an issue with them. Insulation between floors and ceiling was garbage, constantly heard upstairs neighbor.

Building is okay, management is very slow to respond and irresponsible
Former Tenant
Pros:
Nice lobby, elevator. Garbage is always piling up on the sidewalk.
Cons:
Management is rude and is very slow in responding to issues in the apartment. Our fridge broke down a couple times and our sink leaked, we had to tell them many times and it took them a long time to fix these issues.

Former Tenant
Pros:
Great location, reasonably priced. Elevator very useful. Super also very helpful.
Cons:
Landlord is the absolute worst. Packages get stolen on the reg.
Advice to owner:
Show some decency to your tenants, we are humans too

Horrible Building, Even Worse Management
Former Tenant
Pros:
Neighborhood is great
Cons:
Packages repeatedly stolen and management did nothing about it
Elevator constantly under repair/broken
Homeless people get into the lobby
Trash everywhere inside the lobby
Loud neighbors - young demographic
Advice to owner:
Address tenant’s issues instead of ignoring them for months on end
Clean the building
Improve security so packages are not stolen

Review From 2 Year Tenant
Former Tenant
Pros:
Spacious apartment. Decently nice neighbors. Good location if you like the east village.
Cons:
Rude and inconsistent management. No cooking gas for 1.5 years (offered a small concession on rent, but had to fight for it and report the building to the city). Unreliable elevator. Over 16 mice. Homeless lady living in the lobby at times. Leaky windows, unable to retain heat in apartment. Had to purchase space heaters.
Advice to owner:
