The perfect small apartment
Former Tenant
Pros:
I lived here for 3 years. The location could not be better, and the apartments have character. The building is very well maintained, and management is quick to respond to requests. They did not increase my rent too much when I went to renew each year.
Cons:
Generally, all of the apartments are just SO small. I lived in 2 units during my time in the building. The floors are crooked and there are many “quirks” that come with the fact that it’s old and unrenovated. Sometimes the building maintenance people are not very thorough.
Advice to owner:
Do some renovations to the bathroom and kitchen but keep the charm

Good Building
Former Tenant
Pros:
It’s safe and in a good neighborhood. The neighbors are nice. The apartment is nice.
Cons:
The key fob entry breaks often. The rent is really high for the space I have.
Advice to owner:
Lower rent and think about having a back up key entry into the building for when the fob breaks.
