A nice place to live
Former Tenant
Pros:
This building is very quiet, the neighbors mostly keep to themselves and it is on a quiet tree lined street. Some noise from Bowery. Heat and hot water work great and are included. Management is really kind and cares about their tenants. Biggest pro is how well priced the apartments are for the area!
Cons:
The common areas could be cleaner. Super is responsive about urgent problems but smaller issues seem to be harder to get fixed.

Bad 1st NYC Apartment
Former Tenant
Pros:
The location, being on the corner of 5th street was nice and allowed for more light
Cons:
Lived here for a year, and despite being on one of the higher floors, it was infested with mice and cockroaches. The landlords and super Alice barely responded so we had to contact and pay for our own extermination.

Very clean, great super
Former Tenant
Pros:
I lived here for 4 years with ZERO pest problems. Landlords were great about explaining the lease up front and expectations for garbage/etc. Alice the super was responsive. The location is awesome. Neighbors in the building were v quiet.
Cons:
The Standard East Village hotel next door would use loud leaf blower at 6am and wouldn’t stop in spite of complaints. I had to get a white noise machine. Apartment hasn’t been renovated for a while, but that makes sense for the price.
Advice to owner:
Your apartments are cute and the cleanliness (and forbidding pets) pays off in terms of no pests! No advice, just thanks for the great apartment at reasonable price.
