Could be worse
Former Tenant
Pros:
Elevator, spacious apartments with good storage, generally quiet with a few exceptions, generally responsive management, reasonable NYC prices. Great location** wash and fold across the street, bus stop outside the apt, L train 2 blocks away, Union square subway stop 7 minute walk, tons of shops (target, Trade Joe’s) bars and restaurants near by.
Cons:
Recurring Pest issues in garbage room, when controlled it migrates into apartments. They have exterminators visit once a month, but still an issue in some apts. Heat in winter is all or nothing, can get very hot at times. Thin floors, you can hear your upstairs neighbors walk around.
Advice to owner:
Get to the root of the pest issues… big turnoff.
