Nostalgic for this apartment
Former Tenant
Pros:
This apartment is in an amazing location with many trains around as well as popular restaurants, bars, gyms, etc. They were pretty consistent with spraying for bugs, even during the pandemic. It was rare that I would have bugs in my unit (although you do frequently see them in the hallways). I also would always see cleaners mopping the hallway. I can be sensitive to noise but it really was quiet most of the time. Absolutely loved having a dishwasher and laundry in the building.
Cons:
While it was great having on-site laundry, it flooded VERY easily and there were often bugs/rats around. There was an extended period of time when none of the machines worked and we had to use a laundromat. This didn't bother me too much, but my boyfriend complained about it being a mini-fridge and not full-sized. While there is a buzzer/intercom at the front door with a camera installed, the intercom in my apartment was never updated so you can't see who is there. You can only talk/listen. It would be nice if that was updated so the video camera could be used. My biggest complain is how inefficient the air conditioning is. I had to have the AC on ALL day and even then still use a fan.
Advice to owner:
It would be helpful if you were responsive to texts/called back. I never had a HUGE issue that needed resolving, but if I did, I would have been very frustrated with the lack of response.

overall nice place!
Former Tenant
Pros:
Great area, quiet building, responsive and caring management
Cons:
The entrance, stairwell, and laundry room could’ve been kept cleaner. I also had a mice issue.
Advice to owner:
Get a better exterminator. I had to privately hire one to fill holes and redo what the buildings one had done.

Okay not terrible
Former Tenant
Pros:
Very responsive compared to most, nice people, they try to do the right thing but sometimes takes a while.
Cons:
The heat in the winter can’t be shut off or turned down so it gets really hot I had to open all windows and use AC. Slow to fix issues.
