Was ok for a few years until it started going downhill
Former Tenant
Pros:
Nice location, accessible to a lot of trains
Cons:
- Noise, traffic noise after 4pm is bad due to the Holland Tunnel nearby. - Super was not responsive and he was irresponsible, refused to addressed concerns with the apartment building as a whole and issue with the apartment itself - Management was not communicative

Ok apartment for first couple of years in NYC
Former Tenant
Pros:
Incredible location, very straightforward building. Have a wash and fold laundry service right in the same building on the first floor.
Cons:
People break in all the time to steal packages, which can be dangerous and very annoying. Some units are more updated than others. My unit was not really updated and looked a bit jank. UPDATE: management does absolutely nothing to take care of tenants - we had a break in through both doors where somebody threw a rock, and super never notified us. People break in through doors all the time using knives. DO NOT RENT FROM HERE.
Advice to owner:
Get new doors to provide theft and strangers breaking into the building!

Not terrible for a first apartment, but wouldn't necessarily live there again
Former Tenant
Pros:
Stairs are pretty wide, making it easy to get up and down
