Avoid these slumlords in Nolita Soho
Former Tenant
Pros:
Location, Chinatown, coffee
Cons:
Bldg is owned by Joseph Safra’s JSRE, managed by Steve Elbaz Esquire Management. LL does not make repairs. Building is run down and dirty. They want tenants to move out. Over 120 open HPD violations. Spend your money somewhere else.
Advice to owner:
Repair the building and treat tenants with respect.

Slumlords own and operate this building
Former Tenant
Pros:
Convenient location to subways
Cons:
The landlord and management are dishonest and sleazy. Your typical slumlords. There are constant heat outages. Landlord does not make even simple repairs. There have been two years of constant construction by Rothy’s, a supposedly environmentally conscious store which has no sense of consideration for tenants quality of life. Bad neighbors.
Advice to owner:
Stop treating people like cockroaches.
