Dirty but great first apartment
Former Tenant
Pros:
moved there during covid so the building was pretty empty.
Cons:
had a creepy neighbor whose cat would pee on my door mat :( and roach infestation when we moved in but it was taken care of pretty quickly. lots of package theft - security cameras are definitely fake
Advice to owner:
clean up and get better security

Mean Management + Rat Problem
Former Tenant
Pros:
Great location, super quiet, water pressure was good, heat and hot water worked well.
Cons:
- Rat problem for MONTHS. - Unresponsive/ mean management -Packages stolen consistently - Took 3 months before we got our security deposit back from management (had to chase them down and threaten legal action)
Advice to owner:
Be kinder and more responsive towards your tenants. They do not appreciate repeat tenancy. Always felt like a chase when there was a problem with the apartment.

Small yet cozy
Former Tenant
Pros:
Amazing area, the super is responsive pretty quickly over text, the rooms are well designed so that you can utilize the small space well.
Cons:
Had a few maintenance issues that the super couldn't figure out and thus persisted for about six months. Packages occassionally stolen.

Great older Soho building
Former Tenant
Pros:
The stairs and hallways were really wide, the heat and water pressure were always great and the super is really nice and responsive. The location is also the best, being next to everything but still a rather quiet building, especially the apartments facing the back. Good closet space and windows.
Cons:
We had problems with mice in the beginning, but management immediately sent us an exterminator and the issue was solved quite quickly. The bathroom of my apartment was very small and living room layout wasn’t great, but still totally livable and enjoyable.
