Great location, nightmare to live
Former Tenant
Pros:
The location is on a relatively quiet street
Cons:
Our apartment had bedbugs for months, mice for months, construction for the entire lease including putting up scaffolding, shutting our water off for days at a time with no notice or any money back on rent for any of these issues. Extremely slow to respond and just didn’t care

Amazing location, ok building
Former Tenant
Pros:
Not a terrible building. The location is amazing. Very high ceilings
Cons:
Had some pest issues (mice/cockroaches) but the co op provides an exterminator for free and it was never a huge deal. A lot of construction while I lived here

Glorified Dorm Room
Former Tenant
Pros:
-location -easy to use portal for payments/maintenance requests -unit was not updated/kitchen cabinets were falling off their hinges -walked by recently and looks like there’s a video buzzer now, so hoping they’ve made updates to the security/package theft issues!
Cons:
-consecutive issues with mice on the 6th floor -constant packages being stolen -very very young crowd in the building so sometimes had noisy neighbors/parties

Above restaurant, terrible cockroach problem
Former Tenant
Pros:
Good location. Large rooms.
Cons:
Cockroach infestation. Landlord was unhelpful in ending the issue, never went away (monthly minimal extermination service barely helped). Super loud radiators (so loud you could hear from across apartment).
Advice to owner:
Proper extermination services, patch up cracks/holes that bugs are coming in through.

2 years at 149 Sullivan
Former Tenant
Pros:
The location can’t be beat. The building is kept clean for the most part and someone comes to clean the floors. My neighbors were always quiet and respectful.
Cons:
Cockroaches non stop for two years despite not having any food in the apartment. The owner did provide exterminator on a monthly basis and an intense “bombing” process but they would always come back. They would come out if the outlets and there would be thousand of little ones stuck on traps. To note, this was 2016-2018 so maybe things have improved? They did let us move out a month early given our experience tho.
Advice to owner:
Be honest when it comes to the pest problem in the building
