horrific management - be careful
Former Tenant
Pros:
good location and neighbors but that's it
Cons:
mgmt company horrific in every way, months to take action on leaks, repairs, anything of consequence. incredibly quick to remind you rent is due on the 1st of the month
Advice to owner:

Pretty clean, but the back has noisy partiers.
Former Tenant
Pros:
Good walkable location.
Cons:
Management is not super responsive. Saw a few cockroaches (dead) from time to time.

Tristar management review
Former Tenant
Pros:
I live in the back of the building so noise levels are low. Location is AMAZING.
Cons:
My actual apartment I have loved. It has been a great 1 bedroom. Management is awful. I have been spoken to on several occasions in a very unprofessional manner mainly on the phone but then differently via email. There has been many instances where the entire building has been without hot water with no concession to help aid in the inconvenience. Management handled my lease renewal/negotiation process very unprofessionally. I didn’t have a smoke/carbon monoxide detector in my apartment for probably 8 months after moving in when I brought that to attention immediately. I have had multiple repairs remain un-repaired for extended periods of time after constantly asking for them to be done. One of which was an insanely loud pipe in my bedroom. Honestly the list goes on with management unfortunately.
Advice to owner:
Responsiveness and proper communication with tenants is a must. Speaking to tenants in a professional manner is beyond important and shouldn’t be brought to attention. Having empathy when major repairs are effecting tenants quality of living is important as well.

Just don't
Former Tenant
Pros:
There's are no perks in living here besides the area
Cons:
Everything. But let's start with human shit in the garbage area. Maybe it walked there by itself, considering anyone can waltz in the building. Broken doors is the only constant. Dead bugs everywhere. And the guy who " sweeps" likes to steal pacakages
Advice to owner:
When someone gets robbed or worse, the blood will be on your hands.
