Great place to live!
Former Tenant
Pros:
Amazing price to live on King St! 2 bedroom apartments are spacious, and even though not renovated are in good condition. Quiet residential street, lots of parking on the street. Beautiful exposed brick walls in every unit and lots of natural light.
Cons:
Super that works at the building is hard to get ahold of, packages ALWAYS get stolen, and the stairs are STEEP.
Advice to owner:
Take more ownership when things go wrong in the building.

Good space in unrenovated building
Former Tenant
Pros:
Spacious apartments; very responsive management company
Cons:
Could benefit from renovation; window nets did not work properly so mosquitos would come in; heating didn’t work for a few days in the winter; street facing units are very noisy
Advice to owner:
Work on soundproofing street windows and repairing window nets

First Floor Review
Former Tenant
Pros:
The first floor has 4 apartments that are all studios. The layout of the studios are pretty solid as they use the most amount of space they have (the beds are lofted). I never ran into an issue with pests, water pressure is good
Cons:
Noise. If you live in either of the apartments above the basement, be prepared to have loud roommates. The basement apartment is a quad and naturally attracts younger/louder tenants. The wall between the first floor and the basement is so thin that you’ll be able to hear music at any volume that they play. Also if you live facing the street, king street can get pretty noisey, so be prepared for that as well.
Advice to owner:
Put in stronger sound proof windows, and put carpet on the first floor with the apartments above the basement. Any sound absorption could help.

Management was non existent
Former Tenant
Pros:
Good location & spacious apartment.
Cons:
Management was essentially non-existent. We had many issues with the apartment including mice, flies and we lost control of our shower temperature (options were only scolding hot or freezing cold). Management either did not pick up / respond to calls, or when they did pick up / respond, never actually followed up with any action.
Advice to owner:
Improve responsiveness, better pest control.
