Dookie Hole Forever
Former Tenant
Pros:
It was in a central and chaotic location
Cons:
The street it was on is smelly and full of tourists. There were mice in my apartment on the 5th floor. The unit was small and facing an air shaft.

Great area, tough apartment
Former Tenant
Pros:
I loved the location, the fire escape overlooking bustling MacDougal street was always so fun and there is always something to do. So close to West 4th stop and great access to food, activities, beautiful sights and Washington Sq Park. I lived in a flex so we paid $1500 each which is amazing for the WV.
Cons:
The bedroom had NO natural light and was slanted, terrible pest issues and bad responsiveness, no ventilation in the shower, TINY bathroom, flexed living room made for super small other bedroom, noise on MacDougal was there but didn't bother me. Definitely not clean or recently renovated but was okay for a 6 month sublet.

Best for college kids
Former Tenant
Pros:
Super was very friendly and helpful, came to help us out multiple times last minute. Building was fairly clean and apartment was pretty modern. Location is absolutely amazing, close to bars, schools, restaurants, and really everything you could want as a young person. Party central which is great if ur college aged. I really did have the time of my life and if you can deal with the noise and people, it’s gonna be an awesome time!
Cons:
Garbage constantly overflowed outside and in the buildings trash area. People constantly sitting and even sleeping in the doorway and steps. Noise levels were insane at all times of the night, which made it extremely hard to sleep as my room was facing the street, although my roommate who was facing the side of the building never had a problem with the noise.
Advice to owner:
Take better care of garbage.
