Expensive, not maintained well, greedy landlord
Former Tenant
Pros:
Location, bright direct sunlight.
Cons:
Roaches, garbage piled in hallway, door buzzer broken for many units so I have to walk several flights downstairs to let anyone in. No response to maintenence requests. Landlord emails 2 weeks in the month to ask for rent early. If you don't pay rent on time due to a glitch in the website, you're charged late fees. The rent is incredibly expensive for a 1 bed. Super is rude. Pest control knocks on my door once a month to ask about pests but there's no notice to when he shows up, so I'm never prepared. Charges pet rent. No notice for construction, no cleanup in hallways for construction. There's a draft in the hallway which constantly moves and bangs my doors. Some of the stairs are broken and shift.
Advice to owner:
If you're going to charge 3k for a 1 bed, maybe be more responsive to tenants who need maintenance.

Be ready to threaten to sue
Former Tenant
Pros:
Great location, renovated units
Cons:
Management is slow to respond and tries to pin it all on you. To get any reasonable response requires you to email the general manger of the management company itself. The super is rude and lazy
Advice to owner:
Get a decent super and take maintenance issues seriously. Its a pre-war walk up and things will come up
