Keep Looking - slumlords
Former Tenant
Pros:
Location Close to west 4th sub hub
Cons:
Landlord/management is awful. Ignore messages, rent increases are absurd, elevator is sketchy and doesn’t work 50% of the time. Packages stolen and they refuse to review security cameras. On-site super is awful (when he is actually on site). He also likes to “watch” people from his security room - in a predatory way. Dirty mop buckets on all floors Laundry room is small (you share it with 224 building). Washers all smell like mildew. They have multiple violations that are on the record that they don’t fix, or are taking their time. Units are never cleaned properly before you move in. DO NOT RENT unless you see it in person. Photos are all fake! Retaliation if you make a request. They will not renew your lease if you ask for anything. Be prepared to fix every issue on your own.
Advice to owner:
Care. Keep tenants that don’t have parties, are quiet and pay rent on time.
