Bleecker side facing loud
Former Tenant
Pros:
Lots of light, tons of storage, well maintained building
Cons:
Very loud in bedroom on Bleecker side of building, not great water pressure in shower and takes long time for hot water in shower
Advice to owner:
Renovate kitchens in apartments that aren’t yet and update windows for sound proofing

Good value busy neighborhood
Former Tenant
Pros:
Great price for location, neighbourhood is amazing for restaurants, bars and shops, easy access to subway, south facing with lots of light, large closet space and above closet storage
Cons:
If street facing noisy from Bleecker street traffic and weekend drunk people from MacDougal, some units have had their kitchens updated but not all, some water damage in bathroom that was patched but not repaired, heating set by building sometimes too hot in winter and need windows open to control, water takes a long time to heat from sink taps and shower
Advice to owner:
Updates needed to kitchens, bathrooms, and windows

Professionally run building
Former Tenant
Pros:
Beautiful old building in the best neighborhood in the city. Landlord / owner Peter de Luca is fair and responsive and takes decent care of his tenants. The building management works in the funeral home next door which makes it relatively easy to get support if you need it.
Apartments facing inner courtyard are miraculously quiet relative to those apartments facing Bleecker. The building and apartments are well maintained with some having brand new kitchens. Never had a pest problem while living there. Would definitely recommend this building and landlord.
Cons:
No elevator. Sometimes tough to track down building manager. Radiators were loud. No washer / dryer in building.
Advice to owner:
It would be nice to have building manager who was more invested in responding to the tenants promptly. Often required following up 2-3 or more times to get a response.

Great Landlord and Building
Former Tenant
Pros:
Good tenants, responsive landlord and well-maintained units.
Cons:
Loud at night (just the location) and the trash system could be better.
