Greenwich Village high rise rental with Rooftop pool
Former Tenant
Pros:
Having the Pool during the summer (have to pay extra for) and good zoned Public Elementary School. Staff ( doorman porters & handyman) have been here for a while and are great.
Cons:
Rent keeps going up for existing tenants and no concern about keeping long term renters. Almost opposite in current market they would prefer people leave so they can do slight reno and charge a lot more.
Advice to owner:
Care about people who have stayed for a long time even during Covid when so many people left.

Excellent Luxury building.
Former Tenant
Pros:
Clean, great doormen, excellent views and top rate appliances -- very responsive maintenance staff.
Cons:
Expensive. Cheap floors and terrible paint jobs. Lobby is always full of packages.
Advice to owner:
Find a separate space for all the packages - it really ruins the luxury vibe to walk through a maze of boxes everyday.

Good building but can be improved
Former Tenant

Doormen are good
Cons:
The outside always smells of dog pee. In fact, the whole street does.
Windows are pretty bad and you can hear cars honking the whole time.
Roof is only open for a few months
Handymen asks for $20 for literally 5 mins of work
