Classic West Village
Former Tenant
Pros:
Amazing location on a beautiful quiet street but what really makes this building great to live in is the people. The doormen and staff are absolutely wonderful. They are always extremely friendly and responsive. Any problems that I have had, such as a leaking sink, have been fixed the same day to my satisfaction with zero inconvenience for me which is amazing and unheard of. I have never felt unsafe in the building and it is extremely reassuring to have such kind doormen. The live in super, Steve, is awesome as well. He is very visible and responsive to tenant concerns and makes sure that any issues are resolved quickly and fully. Unlike other supers that I have had, Steve is very reasonable and the realistic. He doesn’t make promises he can’t keep, but he goes the extra mile to make sure he can help as much as possible. Regarding pest control, I have lived here for 3 years and I have seen a total of two roaches in my apartment, which is INSANELY low in NYC
Cons:
Older, even though it is expensive many units have not been updated, no outdoor space
Advice to owner:
Make sure to take good care of the doormen, staff, and Steve. They are what makes this building so wonderful to live in
