Nice little spot in the village.
Former Tenant
Pros:
Several rent-stabilized units! Be sure to check. Interesting blend of young transient NYU students, young professionals, and older folks who have been here forever. Sometimes noisy outside, but generally well sound-proofed between units. Excellent management company.
Cons:
The neighborhood can be very busy on weekends, a pro or a con. The units are small.
Advice to owner:
Thank you for being so responsive to even small problems! We have never had an issue not quickly resolved with management.

Criminal enterprise
Former Tenant
Pros:
Good location, new finishes, across from the best dry cleaner in the city
Cons:
Run by a legitimate mob of crooks. Google the lawyer named on your lease application and you’ll see he’s actually been disbarred for fraud. Search for or try to contact the building manager and you’ll find out he doesn’t exist. Ask where the super lives and you’ll then be told in another borough. Beech Lane Management was possibly the most corrupt group of people I have ever dealt with. They tried to evict me while I was paying rent and waiting on an updated lease from them because they wanted another fee. Never fixed anything in the building, had to coordinate directly with the head of NA Spectrum to get the building rewired myself, no hot water, and to boot, the super in the building next door (who we think got paid by our super to do stuff because she was never around) tried to break into my apartment and assault my roommate, then fled to the roof when the police came. You cannot make this up and I wholeheartedly urge renters to steer clear of any Beech Lane building.
Advice to owner:
Sell the building and stop taking advantge of renters.
