overall great place in a great location, stay on top of management for fixes
Former Tenant
Pros:
great location in the heart of the west village. the super is really nice and takes care of the place. the street is loud but has character, there’s a music store a few doors down and you can sometimes hear them playing their instruments.
Cons:
in my first year here our kitchen window broke and it would no longer close, leaving like a 2 inch gap where allll the heat and rain and cold would get in. we contacted management immediately about fixing it but they didn’t repair the window for 2 years. they said it was back ordered but when we were renewing the lease for year 2 and made fixing the window a condition of our stay, all of a sudden they could repair it that week. that wasn’t great, but they have been prompt and thorough about all other maintenance requests since then and are good to deal with.

Overall liked the building
Former Tenant
Pros:
The rooftop is great, and the staircases were overall clean. Location is also nice, as it is right above 2 cafes and a 2 minute walk to the W 4th station and Christopher street station.
Cons:
Windows had no insulation so was very loud at night from Thurs-Sun from the bars below on W 4th st. The floors slanted as well in the kitchen but this wasn't the biggest deal. In one of the rooms the heater would hiss very loudly and make it hard to study/sleep sometimes. The entry of the building always smelled like wet dog.
Advice to owner:
Get a new carpet in the entry hall as it has absorbed the smell of trash and moistness.
