Out of maintenance building
Former Tenant
Pros:
Cool interior with lots of character decorated by a previous tenant who passed away from old age and lack of heat in the winter
Cons:
Everything
In consistent heat and hot water.
The staircase looks like from an abandoned building
Advice to owner:
Do something
Sh*t show.
Former Tenant
Pros:
No pros. You’re over paying for apartments that haven’t been renovated In 10+ years and a non responsive owner who won’t even text you back during an emergency.
Cons:
Everything. When I first moved in there was an amazing super who was so nice and did an awesome job. Now I don’t even know the New supers name or number. The landlord will never ever respond and when they do it’s full of accusations like late rent and they don’t even care about what you’re trying to tell
Them. One of the younger girls in the building told me she was trying to tell them that her lease is ending and she’s moving out and no one has gotten back to her at all since January. The building is so poorly managed there was even a time in March where we didn’t have hot water for two weeks. There’s tenets that leave gigantic unopened packages in the hallways for
Months and won’t answer the door when you knock and there’s been roaches on the two bottom floors forever.
Advice to owner:
Get it together or sell the place.
Isn’t welcome for young people/students.
Former Tenant
Pros:
Super cute and the heaters work beautifully. Amazing back yard space.
Cons:
Most tenets have been there for years and aren’t friendly at all. The buzzer has been broken since the beginning of time and packages mysteriously go missing every few weeks. Landlord never replies to text messages.
Advice to owner:
Fix it up a little bit then it’ll actually be worth the prices you ask for.
