Flawed but we’re happy here
Former Tenant
Pros:
Great location, apartments are larger than average for the area, great light on upper floors, lots of windows, beautiful wood floors and lots of pre-war detail/charm. Super is responsive and always helpful.
Cons:
Old windows that don’t seal, kitchen and bathroom desperately need renovation, bathroom gets damp and shower easily gets moldy. And no closets! Owners are largely absent, not very responsive, but knock on wood no major crises. Maintenance generally feels slapdash, though—think landlord is up for fixing stuff short term but not major repairs/renovation that is needed.
Advice to owner:
Update the kitchens and bathrooms!
