Building has some problems

Pros:
5 stars for Eddy the Super who is a wonderful human being and does a great job. He's always been great at addressing problems promptly when he can.
Cons:
Since Jan 2024, this building has been running heat + hot water off of a temporary external boiler. This means that often during off hours (late night and early morning) showers it takes 30+ minutes to for the water to heat up if it does at at all. Management has been incredibly slow to fix. They are also slow to fix on other issues, unresponsive and the apartments are often dated.
Advice to owner:
Fix the water heater and be responsive

If you love roaches and mice, this is the building for you.

The super is great
Cons:
Building has been infested with countless mice and roaches. Landlord doesn’t care despite all the tenants complaining constantly, and numerous city violations.
Advice to owner:
Get rid of the mice and roaches. The carpeting in the elevator is filthy

The super is amazing, great location
Cons:
Run from property management company, they are very unprofessional and outright lie, enter peoples apartments without their knowledge (which is illegal per rent terms), refuse to give back security deposits, send mistakes in contracts, are unreachable, the main leasing contact, Marisol is straight up cruel

Notify future residents of the small stairs and elevator

Wonderful Superintendant, difficult landlord

Pros:
Eddie is the Superintendant and has been for decades. He’s really wonderful and dependable. Most of the issues I encountered I could work with him.
Cons:
The owners are really cheap and frankly difficult to work with. I had a pipe leak into my closet and they refused to reimburse me for a basic cleaning of my clothes. In addition, they added a steep yearly rent hike.
