Management Here Sucks
Former Tenant
Pros:
This location was good for personal reasons and I enjoy the amount of space I have. There's enough room for one person to live comfortably and WFH, but people on the highline can get nosy. The neighbors are typically pretty nice, though I had some run ins where I'm like did you ever go to school lol why are you putting tide pods in the detergent drawer I-
Cons:
- management is rude and shady - I heard someone in the building did a lease takeover with a friend and they still forced them to go through a broker still so they can collect a fee thats mad shady - broker also tries to create pressure with possible bidding wars but it's literally rent stabilized? somethings not adding up here - I've heard of people who have been waiting on fixes and maintenance for months like tf - they basically tell all tenants to go fuck themselves if they want to negotiate rent, even if their apartment has pests or maintenance issues - oh yeah there's a mice problem - and I often see cockroaches in the basement/my apartment - the water heater is very old and every now and then you get burned in the shower - packages have been getting stolen recently, could use some security by the mailboxes - I can hear whenever my upstairs neighbor is stomping around - they tried to charge the tenant before me for something that management broke - basically very greedy but hey what's new it's a NYC landlord
