If you're over 25 this isn't the place for you
Former Tenant
Pros:
Clean and well maintained common areas. No pest problem even in lower units
Cons:
The area is not safe. Landlord is very aggressive in communications and not always responsive. Walls/ceilings are paper thin and you can hear quite literally everything that goes on in this building - neighbors are inconsiderate and stomp around quite literally until 5 in the morning and blast music. INSANELY expensive for what you're getting.
Advice to owner:
be nicer to your tenants and have a realistic view of what you're offering

Clean, standard walk up with a nice roof
Former Tenant
Pros:
- Quiet neighbors/neighborhood - Art galleries right across the street - Responsive management and super - Nice natural lighting in bedrooms - Big private roof
Cons:
- Expensive for the square footage - Main living area gets very little natural light - One bedroom had no closet
Advice to owner:
I think they’ve done a great job with the property. I would recommend finding a better system for sorting mail and packages though - they just kind of get dumped in a pile on the ground floor and I worry they’ll get stolen
