Great location but poor maintenance

Pros:
Once you got through to management they were very nice, modern look to the apartment, great outdoor space, nice location.
Cons:
Cockroach problems consistently, the garbage area was consistently overflowing, super would show up unannounced and would get annoyed if we were unavailable when he came, no communication between management the super and tenants, any broken items took months to repair.
Advice to owner:
Talk with the super about better management plans for open maintenance requests, take control of the cockroach problems and make sure every tenant is aware of when the monthly exterminator comes.
