Overall very happy
Former Tenant
Pros:
Love the location. Directly across the street from a grocery store. My unit had a washer / dryer and dishwasher(not every unit does) 9 foot ceilings were a plus and decent sized living room. Every unit is slightly different layout / finishes but mine was super clean. Couldn’t hear any street noise since my apartment was in the back of the building which was a huge plus.
Cons:
Management not very responsive but the super is. Radiators are LOUD, but that’s usually a given in older apartment buildings. There is a neighbor on 25th that sits in his backyard and SCREAMS at all hours, police have been called 100s of times but he won’t stop. You can’t hear him in the summer months when you have your AC on, it drowns out the noise. But any of the back facing apartments can hear him when you have your windows open (sometimes even when closed). Have had multiple problems with cockroaches (the tiny ones). Management sends an exterminator randomly and never give a heads up. Have to mail in checks each month for rent. Lived there 3 years and they said they would be changing to online payments the 1st year and then never happened.
Advice to owner:
Be more responsive and update to online payments

Charming chelsea street
Former Tenant
Pros:
Great location. Management is responsive and things get fixed quickly.
Cons:
Lots of stolen packages, especially in the winter months. People that don’t live in the building hang out on the outdoor steps.
