Can’t beat the location
Former Tenant
Pros:
Super is kind and responsive, rhe location is central to everything and the apartment had great sunlight
Cons:
The building is very old and needs to be renovated, the the stairs are very narrow, and the neighborhood is touristy.
Advice to owner:
Invest in renovations

Went downhill
Former Tenant
Pros:
Location and building was nice maintained for awhile.
Cons:
Building went downhill. The super is nice but forgetful and useless. She cannot fix anything and if you mention any type of repair, outside help needs to be called in. It took months just to help get a minor repair because a worker was hurt, unresponsive, unavailable or some other lame excuse. Now, mice and huge water bugs are all over the building. It is unsafe as packages get stolen, the front door lock is always broken and a few homeless people got caught sleeping in the basement. They make minor repairs on the hallways to jack up the price even higher.
Advice to owner:
Be more responsive and hire a skilled super. Someone who can actually fix something and get help brought in quickly. Everyone used to be nice and fair in the company but now heading towards to slumlord status since no help can be provided and raising rent on good paying tenants. I'm disputing my security deposit as no repairs were made before my lease was ending. But magically when I move out, workers are available to repair the apartment and charge me.

THE SLUM LORD
Former Tenant
Pros:
The amazing tenants
Cons:
Owner, Management & how they never wanted to fix anything. They would put a band aid on a bullet wound so to speak.
Advice to owner:
Why bother. They don’t care how their tenants live or lived as long as they collect rent
