Great building and location

Pros:
Solid building, no heat or water issues. Minor issues with fridge and drains fixed promptly.
Cons:
Some appliances (oven and burner) were a little inconsistent, always set of fire alarm

Pros:
We never had any issues with pests (though we do also have a cat which helps), and the live-in super was fairly responsive. Never had any major issues, overall a great place, well kept, regularly cleaned, and a DREAM location!
Cons:
The live-in super was only ok, but sometimes that’s the best you can ask for. There was a LOT of package theft in this building was the biggest con, but that’s unfortunately not atypical for this area

Charming Building, Lackluster Owners, Excellent Super

Pros:
Generally loved living in this building. Charming tile in the common hallways, pretty green backsplash in the kitchen, large windows.
Cons:
We were on the top floor and had a ceiling during some heavy rains. While the super was very responsive, the major repairs outside our unit took forever and the property management company was non-responsive. The work only got done due to the super’s repeated contact with the property managers.

Worth noting that the social club immediately behind closed down following the pandemic; if the space reopens, it could get noisy. For the brief moment it was open, we loved the live jazz late on Sunday mornings, but couldn’t stand some of the late night parties.
