Great location - unmaintained building
Former Tenant
Pros:
Love the garden view, the many trains, and the many, many restaurants within walking distance - basically the neighborhood makes this place worth it
Cons:
the manager and maintenance to not properly maintain the building. trash floats around the entrance, the front door to the building doesn't close all the way and is cracked, and the inner door has not had a working lock for over two weeks even though residents have raised the issue with maintenance. the roof leaks apparently, the owner doesn't put down plastic when he paints, getting paint all over the hardwood floors, and the super doesn't do a walkthrough after one tenant moves out and another moves in, leading to many repairs the new tenant must make thanks to previous tenant's lack of care (active leaks, active mold in bathroom, missing dimmer knobs and stove knobs, peeling bathroom tub, etc)
Advice to owner:
act like owning a building is your job, because that's what we pay you ridiculous Chelsea money for.

Great location, pretty finishes, small
Former Tenant
Pros:
The location is awesome, the pre-war finishes are great, the apartments are small.
Cons:
The stairwell is dated and the garbage outside leaves a little to be desired.
