Lovely location, pests

Pros:
Lovely location, nice sized units, management is responsive and tries!
Cons:
Cockroaches, mice, flies. The trash situation is not great which attracts summer pests. Also the units are slanted / not level, so I have to add cardboard under the legs of my furniture to level them out.
Advice to owner:
Have no idea how to get rid of pests other than more extensive extermination (pretty sure the brick wall is housing many types of life)

Great area and access to lower Manhattan
Cons:
Ground floor did have mice/bugs, but landlord was responsive in dealing with the issues
