Former Tenant
Pros:
Cute building, great neighbors and super, close to a Walgreens and subway station
Cons:
There are water bugs in the lower apartments, not a great spot for a good supermarket or deli with a vast array of necessities. At night, 6th gets very dicey. There are often issues with people staying in the walkway and police are called every two months or so because of it to remove them.

Right in the middle of Chelsea
Former Tenant
Pros:
For being so close to so much, it’s a very quiet and green block. It’s a nice pre-war building, and the buzzer system is good. The tenants seem like a mix of friendly single older people who have been in the neighborhood for a while and yuppies who are not as friendly. Laundry room is never busy.
Cons:
The elevator is slow. Our unit doesn’t have great light and feels claustrophobic sometimes. We found one cockroach once but never saw any more.
Advice to owner:
I think they’re doing a great job, just maybe adding a few garbage and recycling bins so they don’t get as full.

Great building!
Former Tenant
Pros:
Building is quiet, clean and a great place to live.
Cons:
Last year the gas was off for several months, landlords where super friendly and apologetic, going as far as to discount the rent and provide us with electric stove tops and an electric mini oven but it took several months of back and forth with PG&E to resolve.
