Insane rent increases every year. We lived here for 3 years and our rent went from $2700 to $3900

Solid starter apartment in NYC

Relatively quiet for the area, solid location
Cons:
Things break a lot given how old the building is and the fixes are always patchwork not addressing actual problems. Laundry machines in basement are old and essentially useless, always breaking. Apartment was dirty and needed painting (which the owner refused) upon move-in.
Advice to owner:
Address your tenants needs more to prevent turnover

Location is amazing
Clean laundry room and lobby/mail area
Awesome roof access

Cons:
Living on the first floor…very loud especially on weekends. Door slamming and screaming upstairs neighbor.
Had a roach and mouse problem and had to manage on our own due to lack of exterminator responsiveness.

Tiny apartment. The landlord never paints the apts, they are assholes who try to nickle and dime for everything
Advice to owner:
Paint and clean the apartments before move in
