A Mixed Review!
Pros
This was our first apt in the city. Its location is perfect. 1 min walk to RW, 3 mins to the 1, and 5 mins to the 6. Flatiron and nomad neighbourhood is amazing. The rooms are very spacious and were already furnished with good Ikea bed frames etc. The building is very small (3 units) and we got lucky with good neighbours
Cons
The management was not as responsive to issues as we had hoped. We struggled with the butterfly system. We also had billing issues with Con Edison that is unresolved. The living room is very small and doesn’t have a window. Laundry is not in building.
Beware. Seriously.
Pros
-Apartment finishes are nice, dishwasher and marble looking bathroom -Good location for subway stops
Cons
-Cannot receive any packages as they get stolen from the street and management won't set up the keypad to allow packages inside -Major mouse problem that was supposed to be solved by a hired "exterminator" who was clearly not a professional, just left paper plates of poisoned corn kernels everywhere which did not help at all. No effort to follow up or continue handling the issue. -Any issues took a very long time to be solved, if ever. At one point the heat wasn't working for multiple days (in the winter- literally freezing) and there was no follow up after initial complaint or any effort to even look at the unit. -Management shows very little respect for the space, the few times the landlord came to fix things they used our personal towels for messes they made and left trash with no regard for tenants. -The larger bedrooms are north facing so they get very little sunlight, also windows are very poorly insulated so super loud and let in lots of cold air in the winter. -Generally not worth what they're charging at all. Do not move here.
