Solid building, but expensive

Pros

The concierges and super are very nice and helpful, the building is in a convenient location, and the views are good. The roof has an amazing view. No issues with pests or anything.

Cons

The elevators are very slow and frequently break down, the management company is sometimes quite slow to respond, to the point of causing us issues subleasing and getting required documents. It is also on the pricey end.

Great building I think!

Pros

- great staff - large bedrooms - great natural light - no bugs!!!!!!!!!!

Cons

- heating and cooling is inefficient, gets really hot or really cold very quickly there's no in between - water pressure - only two elevators so if one has been booked off for moving, you're cooked - building manager is super unresponsive

can't tell about 49th. , we live between 39./40.

I live about halfway up. The room that faces 34th St only gets faint beeping and sirens, the room that faces 35th has virtually no street noise. Hope that helps!
