Awful management company, Bettina, lies, deceives & extremely unorganized

Pros:
Decent price, but everything constantly breaks and doesn't work int he building and the management refuses to acknowledge or fix it.
Cons:
This building is in an excellent location, although the building itself isn't great. The management is extremely poor.
Advice to owner:
Be honest with your tenants, give them fair respect and decency and fix issues that occur instead of cheaping out.

Great location, cheap and it shows

Pros:
- Great location
- Pretty affordable price
- Kitchen and bathroom is separate from the studio area
- Maintenance staff are very nice
Cons:
- Walls and ceilings are thin. Very thin. I grew too annoyed being able to hear every keystroke the upstairs neighbor hit on his keyboard. Every chair drag. Every step. It's like there isn't even a ceiling it's so loud.
- Tenants don't respect quiet time, all the neighbors on my floor would be blasting TV/music very loudly, even at late hours of the night. I can often hear the unit ACROSS THE HALL's TV playing INSIDE of my unit. And the neighbor beside me? Yeah paper thin walls.
- In the summer, there are always swarms of flies/flying bugs in front of the front door. They've tried eliminating them but they keep coming back

Pros:
The super is responsive and helpful.
The maintenance guy is very nice and works hard with keeping the building clean.
Location is convenient
Cons:
There is only one washer and dryer. Often have to wait to use because they are already in use.
If you are sensitive to noise, this apt is not for you. Especially if you’re street facing, you can hear everything. Walls are also thin and you can hear neighbors.
There are stairs to walk down to the front door of the building and often there are random people that don’t live in the building just sitting there at all hours of the night. There were a few instances where I felt uncomfortable walking to the front door. Nothing happened but it definitely made me nervous.
Exterminator comes 1x per month but have had a few roaches and have gnats flying around and have set up traps
Advice to owner:
Insulate the walls and buy more washing machines.

Pros:
Clean (no rats or bugs), quiet, spacious, built in AC, elevator, and laundry in lobby!
Cons:
Heat is SO hot in the winter and sometimes not on (no in between) and the kitchens are very small in apartments
Advice to owner:
Allow tenants to use the roof!
