Enjoyed living here.
Former Tenant

Cons:
Price was high

Deceitful listing on StreetEasy
Former Tenant
Pros:
I didn’t live there I just toured. The view wasn’t bad. And there was laundry in building.
Cons:
The listing showed a living room, and 2 bedrooms in the background. Was not at all the case. It was a 1 bed with a living room, and we had the option to make the living room a bedroom. Listing said flex wall was already up, it wasn’t. And it would’ve made the kitchen the width of the fridge.

Not a bad place to live
Former Tenant
Pros:
The doormans and all the maintenance people were very nice and helpful
Cons:
My unit seemed more outdated than the other units. I remember there were couple times when water was stopped due to maintenance issues but other than that no big issues

Love living here!
Former Tenant

Cons:
Small
Space but understandable bc NYC

high rent is questionable
Former Tenant
Pros:
- packages are kept in a package room that only the doorman can access
- if you lock yourself out, the doorman will lend you a spare key free-of-charge
- doormen are all super nice (some more than others, but they all do their jobs and are so friendly)
- 2 elevators in case one is taking too long
- really close to Grand Central Station
- convenient location
- great lighting
- easy to submit maintenance requests
Cons:
- gym is super hit or miss, all of the treadmills were out of service for like half a year and then randomly were replaced with newer ones (but clearly older versions). Also, tiny.
- No lights, except for in the kitchen, bathroom, and closets.
- Management is unhelpful (but at least they respond)
- There's no vents I can turn on in my bathroom + I can smell my neighbors' weed from the bathroom vents. When I asked management about this, they said they would cover the vents, but don't you need vents in a bathroom???
- Construction going on our balcony for months with no estimated end, meaning that we can't even make use of our windows lol
- Laundry is hit or miss -- one time I washed a load and realized I ran out of $$ on my card... and the machine to refill my card was broken
Advice to owner:
Would appreciate better jobs of maintaining shared machines (laundry and gym)

Nice building but bad management
Former Tenant
Pros:
The building is clean and staff (doormans, super) are friendly and good at their job.
Cons:
Management (Carlyle group) doesn't care about the tenants and will try to squeeze every last cent out of the rent. So beware when renting for the first time, since at the renewal the management might ask for 30% higher rent easily!!

Gym in the basement used to be OK-ish, now it's a mess with most of the equipment in disrepair and not working.
Advice to owner:
Be fair to the tenants and invest in the building facilities (especially gym!!)!

This building cares about it’s tenants
Former Tenant
Pros:
Issues quickly resolved, management easy to get in touch with, doormen so kind and always willing to go the extra mile to help
Cons:
I think for the cost, bathroom/ kitchens within the apartments could be updated
Advice to owner:
Gym should be cleaned and updated. Apartments should be updated.
